After School Programs

East Woods School offers a variety of after-school programs designed to meet the enrichment needs of our students from Nursery through Eighth Grade. These programs invite positive relationships among children and adults, create engaging environments for student interaction, and encourage children to make decisions and develop skills. Fees for enrichment programs vary with the program selected.

Nursery - Pre-K

Lunch Bunch is available Monday-Thursday from 12:00PM-3:00PM with the option of After Care from 3:00PM-4:00PM.

Kindergarten - 4th Grade

After School Enrichment is available Monday-Thursday from 3:00-4:00PM. After Care is available Monday-Thursday from 4:00-6:00PM and Friday from 3:00PM-6:00PM

5th - 8th Grade

After Care is available Monday-Thursday from 4:00 - 6:00PM.

Lunch Bunch

EWS EARLY CHILDHOOD LUNCH BUNCH PROGRAM

Lunch Bunch is an after-school Early Childhood Center program for students in Nursery & Pre-Kindergarten. Children in our Nursery and Pre-Kindergarten classes may stay for lunch and activities from 12:00-3:00pm Monday-Thursday. After-Care hours from 3:00-4:00pm are also available.

The cost of Lunch Bunch is $40.00 until 3:00pm. The after-care hour is an additional $10.00. (Total cost from 12:00-3:00pm is $40/day; from 12:00-4:00pm is $50/day.)

Children bring a boxed lunch (peanut free) to school. Children will hear a story, have lunch, play outside, and have a special class offered each Monday through Thursday.

Jump Bunch
Soccer Shots
Cheer/Tumble
Art

Children may still attend Lunch Bunch without signing up for additional special classes. We ask that all children staying for Lunch Bunch be potty trained.

After School Enrichment

After-Care Program

EAST WOODS SCHOOL AFTER-CARE PROGRAM
4:00PM–6:00PM every Monday through Thursday
2:00PM—5:00PM every Friday
for Kindergarten through Eighth Grade students

The children enrolled in our After-Care program will be supervised by a member of the EWS faculty. These students will be given a snack, will be helped with homework as needed, and will participate in a variety of fun activities.

Cost:

1 day drop–in students is $20.00/hour.
2 days or more per week is $17.50/hour.

For those students requiring care from 3:00 pm—4:00 pm, Monday—Thursday, and from dismissal—2:00 pm on Fridays, please see our After-School Enrichments, Broadway Bound Theater, and ALPs program offerings.

On any day where there is a full day of school, we will offer After-Care. If there is no After-School Enrichment class running on a full day of school, for example during the first week of school, After-Care will begin at 3pm.

ALPS - Advanced Learning Program

East Woods School is proud to offer our Advanced Learning Program. This program provides an enhanced science, math, technology and arts curriculum to our students through a variety of hands-on, sophisticated and cutting edge labs. The ALPs multi-disciplinary approach is designed to enhance creative and critical thinking skills for each participating student. Math, science and the arts interconnect in this program as students learn the value of integrating perspectives. The yield? Agile minds, able to tackle problems from diverse viewpoints.
