Parents Association

The East Woods Parents Association is active and essential in enriching our school community.

By fostering strong parent involvement in various activities and events, the Association helps strengthen the bonds within our school. The primary goal is building and maintaining a vibrant community supported by open communication.

Parents generously volunteer to serve as class representatives, host faculty and staff appreciation events, and organize parent programs. Additionally, they help coordinate key events such as class photos, Welcoming Receptions for New Families, class parties, and the 8th Grade Bazaar.

Our strong community spirit thrives thanks to the participation of supportive parents, grandparents, dedicated faculty, curious students, loyal alumni, and friends. Their time, talents, and resources benefit our students and enrich our school community. There are many ways to become involved at East Woods.

Perhaps just as rewarding as the spectacular education is the social and family environment at East Woods. Watching my family engage in the community of East Woods has made me the happiest, proudest mother. I send my children off everyday to their second home! The faculty, staff, even the maintenance team are all part of our extended family. I know my children are in the best hands each and every day.

Back to School Class Parties

Each year, a class party is held for each grade, offering parents a fun and relaxed opportunity to connect and socialize. These gatherings allow families to make acquaintances and reconnect with friends while fostering a sense of community. The Class Parents, in charge of each grade, coordinate the event to ensure it runs smoothly and creates a welcoming atmosphere. Whether it's a get-together or a themed celebration, these parties nurture strong relationships among parents and enhance the overall school experience.

Buddy Families

All new families are paired with a returning family to provide a supportive and welcoming experience throughout the school year. The returning family is a helpful guide, offering insight into school traditions, answering questions about daily routines, and assisting with any transitions or concerns. This partnership creates a friendly connection and helps new families feel more comfortable navigating the school community.
