A Burst of Color and Spirit

The annual Green and White Initiation at East Woods School, a much-anticipated tradition, brings excitement and team spirit to our campus! This year’s initiation was no exception, as students discovered their team colors in a burst of celebration. The moment the team captains popped balloons, releasing a stream of green or white confetti that showered down to reveal each student’s team assignment, was thrilling. The air was filled with cheers and laughter as students celebrated their official welcome into the East Woods community.

Each Upper School student received a green or white item to wear proudly, symbolizing their place within East Woods’ rich tradition of teamwork and friendly competition. The first Sports Night begins the year-long competition.
Throughout the year, Green and White teams will compete in a variety of challenges, both physical and academic, fostering school spirit, sportsmanship, and unity. 

The Green and White tradition captures the heart of East Woods—a community bound by collaboration, respect, and a lot of spirit. Here’s to another incredible year of Green and White!
