East Woods School Headlines

So many of us, home-bound now due to the pandemic, and following the national news more closely than usual, saw this latest excruciating visual reminder that our nation has not yet learned from the past and evolved into a fully just and humane society.

The Varsity Boys Basketball team finished the season with an incredible 11-1 record and a 1st place tournament finish.

The East Woods School community came together at the Project Hope soup kitchen.
On February 5th, the two Second Grade classes participated in World Read Aloud Day.

As the second grade "travels" throughout Asia, the class had the opportunity to learn a lot about Chinese Lunar New Year.

The East Woods LEGO Robotics team participated in the First Lego League (FLL) Regional Competition at Huntington High School on January 25

This past weekend, Ovations Dance and EWS came together to dazzle the community with outstanding performances of Peter Pan Jr.

The Eighth Grade students as part of their Leadership Class under the leadership of teacher Laura Sacco adopted a local family through the Youth & Family Counseling Agency of Oyster Bay-East Norwich.
