Advanced Learning Program
At East Woods, we understand the importance of a strong foundation in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) for success in today’s global society. We are dedicated to fostering early interest in these fields by providing exceptional resources, time, and space for STEM education.
Our Advanced Learning Program (ALPS) offers an enriched STEM curriculum featuring hands-on, cutting-edge labs that engage students in creative and critical thinking. Through a multidisciplinary approach, students explore the connections between math, science, and the arts, developing agile minds capable of solving problems from multiple perspectives.
ALPS is led by Jane Powel, founder of OMNILearn Corp., and her team of experienced educators. This unique program blends the art and science of teaching, offering a one-of-a-kind experience at East Woods School.
