International Students

East Woods School is a Pre-Nursery through Eighth Grade school located on 46 beautiful acres in Oyster Bay, a historic town 30 miles outside of New York City. East Woods is a small school - by design. Our low student-to-teacher ratio allows for individualized attention and differentiated instruction. Our size allows each student to have the opportunity to lead, to contribute, and to "stand out."

East Woods offers a well-rounded, rigorous curriculum with an interdisciplinary approach that engages and excites students. As a "STEAM" school (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics), East Woods is a school where advanced learning opportunities abound. East Woods students are also immersed in foreign languages, history, literature, athletics and the arts (musical, performing, visual and industrial).
As written in our mission statement, East Woods is a "a nurturing community that celebrates the differences among us and leads by example through citizenship and service to others."We are thrilled to be able to admit students from many different countries around the globe. We are registered with SEVIS (the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System) and are authorized to issue I-20's to international students.
