Welcome from the Head of School

East Woods School is a top independent, private school on a beautiful 46-acre campus with outstanding faculty. I am excited about all the possibilities this school offers our families. The beautiful main building, formerly the Mallow Estate, is a dynamic space for our students. From our designated Early Childhood Center, which serves our youngest learners, to our Upper School building, which houses our middle school students, the spaces have been designed to maximize the East Woods School student experience. Our nurturing community offers a space for all of our students to grow academically while developing and encouraging creativity, intellectual curiosity, and strength of character.

While our campus is remarkable, our faculty truly make East Woods School unique. Our exceptional faculty know every child as an individual and recognize that each student learns, grows, and succeeds in different ways. They build outstanding relationships, inspire curiosity, encourage resilience, and create classrooms where students feel confident taking intellectual risks.

After spending decades at the school as Assistant Head of School, I am overjoyed to be the ninth Head of School. This community has a special place in my heart, and I cannot wait for you to come visit and see the magic that occurs “On Top of the Hill.”
