Head of School Search Updates

It is with great love and respect in my heart for all of you, whether student, parent, faculty, staff, alum, past parent, or friend of the school that I’m announcing after 43 years as an independent school educator and 18 of those years as a Head of School at three schools, I will be retiring June 30, 2026.

A Search Committee, led by Trustees Fern Senior and Ted Panebianco, is partnering with Educators Collaborative, the search firm that introduced us to Laura. In the coming weeks, we will share more details about the search process, including how the Search Committee plans to engage with and keep the community informed. Throughout this process we remain committed to upholding East Woods’ mission and vision.
