Nursery through Eighth Grade Students enjoyed a true East Woods holiday tradition with cookies and stories in front of the fire at Mrs. Kang's house this week. Before enjoying cookies and milk, children listened to the holiday books, The Mitten by Jan Brett, Cobweb Christmas by Shirley Climo, and The Best Hanukkah Ever by Barbara Diamond Goldin. Thank you to Mrs. Lorbert, our school librarian, for providing the picture books
President of the Parents Association, Kim D'Agostino, arranged a few days of mixing and baking cookies. Bakers of the delicious cookies included Chef Tim, Katie Pacinelli, Sarah Prisco, Sandra Graham, and Mia Notarnicola. Special thank you to the cookie decorators Gia, Parker, and Siena, who really like sugar! There is no better way to continue the holiday celebrations than with cookies and stories by the fire.
