The Silent Auction, held in the Rousmaniere Library, stayed open throughout Spring Fair Weekend May 15-17. It buzzed with eager bidders vying for desirables for the home, gift certificates to popular restaurants, designer clothing, jewelry and music lessons.

The grand event itself -- the Fair -- was wonderfully successful, despite the cool, drizzly weather, thanks to co-chairs Libra Grassi and Barbara Grren. The traditional carnival rides, face painting, rock-climbing wall, inflatable bouncy and the American Girl Tea were among the favorite entertainments. The games and prizes, organized by the Huseby family, were a hit, too.

Inside the tent, parents shopped at the Gazebo, co-chaired by Elizabeth Benson and Mary Gay Townsend, for beautiful flowers, plants and garden accessories. The Barbeque and Bistro kept all well fed with delicious salads and traditional barbeque fare. Yummy desserts sourced from local bakeries delighted every sweet tooth.

Many thanks to the legions of volunteers, some of whom are mentioned above, who made it all happen!
