East Woods School invests time and resources into a wide range of enrichment programs which provide many opportunities for students to explore and learn. Children are encouraged to try new things through these programs, all in a safe and nurturing environment.
Students in Pre-Nursery attend Music and Physical Education Classes each week. Students in Nursery and Pre-Kindergarten attend Spanish, Library, Physical Education and Music classes on a weekly basis. Technology is introduced and delivered through age-appropriate educational software within the classroom.
Each of these classes meets for a thirty minute period. Library and Spanish meet once per week and Physical Education and Music meet twice per week.
Students in Kindergarten through Second Grade attend Art, Library, Physical Education, Music, World Language (Spanish K-4 & French 3-4), and Technology classes on a weekly basis. In Third and Fourth Grade Industrial Arts is added to the curriculum.
Each of these classes generally meets for a forty minute period. Art and Library meet once per week, Music, Foreign Language and Technology meet twice per week and Physical Education meets three times per week.

In Fifth Grade, the students are required to take Studio Art, Music, Drama, Industrial Arts, Technology, and Library as part of their scheduled classes. Each of these classes meets for a forty minute period, once per week.
In Sixth through Eighth Grade, the enhanced curriculum subjects of Studio Art, Health, Industrial Arts, Information Technology, and Music are offered in multi-week blocks, two blocks per term. Classes meet four times per week for fifty-five minutes. The enhanced curriculum faculty members provide various electives, such as Cigar Box Guitar, Tribal Mask Making, Coding, Modern Band, and Theater Improv for the students to choose from based upon their interests. All students are required to take Health and Informational Technology once throughout the course of each year, and all Eighth grade students are required to participate in the creation of the school yearbook.
Additional courses offered include Jewelry Making, Intro to Playwriting, Animation, Music In The Movies, and Multimedia with iMovie
