Hanukkah!
	The first graders learned the traditions of Hanukkah when Mr. Aborn came to visit the classroom. He read a Hanukkah story, Hoppy Hanukkah! and spoke about the significance of the menorah, which Jared lit while reciting a special prayer on the second day of Hanukkah.  He taught the students how to play the dreidel game and afterward they enjoyed potato latkes and apple sauce while listening to Hanukkah songs.
