East Woods alumnus Danny Freeman hits the big time. Danny, with his singing group the Dartmouth Aires, have earned their place as one of two finalists on NBC’s,The Sing Off. The Aires, the oldest a cappella group in the United States, was founded in 1946 by Paul Zeller as an offshoot of the college Glee Club. This young, energetic group of singers will continue their tradition of traveling around the Northeast during winter break. One of the stops on the tour is East Woods School in Oyster Bay. Danny Freeman and the Dartmouth Aires will perform Monday, December 12, 2011 at 10:00AM.
