Paper and Plastic Recycling
The paper, plastic and can recycling program is very active at East Woods. Volunteer students meet every Wednesday morning, before school starts, at 7:30 a.m. in the lunch room. They are dispatched through the building, collect the content of the recycling bins, and weigh it. It is a very efficient team who accomplishes a tremendous job before they have to report to class!
In order to reduce the amount of paper, cans, and plastic that we use at East Woods, the team of volunteers weigh the paper and plastic bottles and report it to all the students.
