Turkeys in Disguise

Grandparents’ Visiting Day was a day the students had been looking forward to for weeks. After attending a musical program, the grandparents visited their grandchildren’s classrooms. In Second Grade, grandparents helped the children make a disguise for their turkeys so that they would not be chosen as someone's dinner on Thanksgiving Day. The second graders and their grandparents created clever disguises for their turkeys, such as: rock star, policeman, ballerina, pig, artist, and even Santa Claus. This turned out to be a fun day full of happy memories for all.
