School Supplies for Haiti
	During the month of January, Upper School teacher, Ms. Jill Werblin, collected school supplies for students in Haiti.  Due to the overwhelming generosity of the East Woods Community, Ms. Werblin was able to travel to Haiti to deliver 500 pounds of supplies directly to the children at the Sa-Ira orphanage. Each child received a bag filled with a notebook and other basic school supplies.  The remaining 500 pounds was recently shipped  to L'ecole Centre St. Francois D'Assis School in Port-au-Prince. The children were extremely thankful for the kindness of our community. Thank you again to the students, parents, and faculty members for their generosity, and to Ms. Werblin and her husband, Detective Ralph Jean-Pierre, who was responsible for coordinating the delivery of supplies to the orphanage and school.
