Grandparents Visiting Day was held Wednesday, November 24. The morning began in the Old Gym with a lovely song by the Lower School students, led by Chorus Director, Mrs. Bader. Following the choral performance, Eighth grade student, Sonja Drabin shared her fondest memories of Grandparents Visiting Day with the audience. Next, the EWS Rhythm and Blues Band, led by Band Director, Mr. O, played a number of pieces including "Over the River and through the Woods" and "Hey Jude." It was a terrific performance! Special thanks to English teacher, Mr. Brinn, for accompanying the band with a blues number on the piano.
After a lively assembly, the students escorted their grandparents back to their classrooms to enjoy the morning together.
