How to Eat Like a Child

On Friday, December 10, the Fifth Grade class presented “How to Eat Like a Child,” a delightful play about how not to be a grown up! The students shared 17 hilarious lessons every child should know, including how to stay home from school, how to ask for a dog, how to deal with injustice, how to go to bed, and of course, how to eat. The play featured many great musical numbers, including “Say Yes,” “Birthday,” Why Should a Kid Have to Walk,” and “We Refuse to Fall Asleep."

“How to Eat Like a Child” was made possible thanks to the talents of so many people in our community…Thank you to Music teacher, Mrs. Jane Bader for putting together another wonderful play that featured a grand selection of beautifully arranged musical pieces, and to the fifth graders for a terrific performance. A special thanks to the parents and faculty for their help and support, and especially to Ms. Marie Ucci for set design, The Hefter Family for sound and lighting, Mr. Tom Knight for audio, Mrs. Laura Sacco for the programs, and Mr. Paul Oechslin for his assistance, advice and surprise cameo in the show.
