| New Upper School Academic Building, July 2009 |
The construction of the new Academic Upper School building was completed in July 2009. This academic building will provide our Sixth through Ninth Grade students and teachers with outstanding classrooms. It will also set the stage for the final phase of our capital improvements that will create a new Science Center with two laboratories and a Science Room with a Harkness-style conference table. In addition, the Band and Music Rooms will be upgraded with a new floor for dance, soundproofing and storage for instruments. We will also renovate the current Second Grade classrooms, which will move to the second floor, to become the new Art Studio and Kiln Room.
