No refunds for any reason will be made after the first week of each session. No make-up days or refunds will be granted for days absent or if Discovery must close due to an unforeseen emergency. Campers will be unable to attend Discovery without a paid balance and an updated physical.
For the general welfare of all campers, Discovery reserves the unrestricted right to dismiss any camper whose conduct or influence, in the opinion of the Director, is detrimental to the best interests of the camp. Discovery is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
According to New York State law, all summer programs are: Required to be licensed by the Nassau County Dept. of Health. Required to be inspected by the state twice yearly. Inspection records are on file both at Discovery and at: Nassau County Dept of Health, Office of Recreational Facilities, Children’s Camps, Charles Lindbergh Blvd., Uniondale, NY 11553.
Photography or videography taken at Discovery may be used for promotional purposes.
