Each fall and winter, East Woods sponsors an informal parenting workshop designed to provide a forum for parents to gather together to discuss parenting issues. PACE, Parenting and Child Education program, is directed by Group Leader Carmela Bernacchio, MS, SLP-CCC, who has a BA in Early Childhood Education and an MS in Speech/ Language Pathology, as well as twenty-eight years of experience in the early childhood field. Through informal meetings, parents identify their parenting goals and learn how to promote them through positive and empowering parenting techniques. The cost is $150 per semester.
