Questions? Send email to Susan Stevenson

ENROLLMENT: Students will be registered on a first come, first served basis. Please indicate first, second, and third choices, if desired, on the registration form. Every effort will be made to ensure that your child receives his/her first choice. However, classes are subject to cancellation if enrollment cannot support the course, and some classes have limited enrollment. To ensure your child's placement in the desired workshop, please respond as soon as possible. We will contact you only in the event of a registration problem. The student-teacher ratio in each workshop will remain low unless specified. Payment in full must accompany the registration form in order for the enrollment to be complete. Refunds will be made only if the student withdraws before the second session.

Registration for New Horizons classes can be accomplished easily. First, the application can be downloaded from this Website using the link at the bottom of this page, and mailed or submitted to the school’s main office by March 30, 2012. Please pay careful attention to the second choice options on your child’s application and submit your application before March 30th.

Finally, please be aware of the following: Due to salary commitments and material purchases, one-half of the tuition will be refunded if a student drops a course after the first class but before the second class. No refunds or class changes can be made after the second session.

We encourage you to speak with your child’s classmates before registration if you want to coordinate attendance in similar classes. The above procedures are necessary to ensure a high quality New Horizons program for your child.

TERM DATES: The WinterTerm will begin on Monday, April 2, 2012, and will finish on Thursday, June 7, 2012. Each activity will meet for one hour, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm, once each week following the regularly scheduled school day. All workshops will meet for 8-10 sessions. The fees listed in this brochure include a $5 registration fee which helps to defray administrative costs, a snack before each activity and all additional supplies.

TRANSPORTATION: Transportation home on the 4:00 p.m. bus will be on a space-available basis, but YOU must contact your own school district directly to make these bus arrangements. If you have any problems, please contact Ms. Amy Forman at East Woods.
