Science Experiments & Scient Fair Projects

Resources for Science Symposium Projects

Getting Started

1. Choose a topic that interests you. Besides the obvious subjects including astronomy, biology, chemistry, physics, and others, there are ways to combine music, art or sports with science. It is easier to put more effort into a project that really interests you.

2. Determine the cost of a project in terms of time and money. Some projects will take weeks or even months to complete and others may require expensive materials or equipment. Determine how much available time you will have and estimate project costs.

3. Check our library's collection of science experiment books

*** Remember: your project need not be overly complex or cost a lot to be successful.
