East Woods Students Receive Top Honors at National French Contest    
Le Grand Concours of the American Association of teachers of French
The AATF (American Association of Teacher of French) held the National French Contest on March 12, 2008. There were over 1600 participants in Nassau County. East Woods students in Seventh through Ninth Grade received awards for their high scores on the 2008 National French Exam.

Many East Woods French language students placed in the top ten of the French National Exam and several received top National and Nassau County rankings.
