East Woods School believes in and practices a need blind admissions policy. East Woods is also committed to offering a strong financial assistance program based upon demonstrated family need. Families who wish to apply for financial assistance should contact the Admissions Office at 516-922-4400 x114. (Please note that all financial disclosures are held in strict confidence.)
The financial aid program is guided by the principal that the primary responsibility for financing a student's independent education rests with his/her family. Both parents are considered a potential source of earned income once all children are in school full-time and are responsible for educational expenses. Currently 20% of our students are receiving financial aid of varying grants. While East Woods has a generous financial aid budget and is able to meet the needs of many new families, unfortunately we are not able to offer awards to all who qualify.
